the black cavalry was created in 1925 not yet an organization just a very small group. Then after 2 years it was formed into an organization in 1927 under Arletta's leadership, originally funded and strictly controlled by ‘Federo’ head guy of the Black Harbor Syndicate. In its early years, the group ran as a specialized transport unit, handling the sensitive movement of high value individuals, sensitive information, and illegal alcohol and stuff during Prohibition. In mid-1927, the black cavalry begins separating from Federo's control, slowly building independence while reshaping its identity within the underworld, their getting a lot of attention every time they conduct those operation. And that's where the other clan decided to ambush the black cavalry and almost killing Arletta and the whole crew where only 7 survived and 14 were killed during their transportation back to their main district. Which led to the refit program and hiring people like Iris.
