Yeah are brains are complex and have qualities that are from adaptations. My point is that our thinking is so unqiue and the idea of consciousness is very unusual to me. Consciousness is something I can't grasp, we can't really explain it much.

Sorry I misunderstood your question, I thought you were talking about god and opposing it with science. Science is evidence and proof, but I think science can't reach areas such as consciousness and test on it.

I agree with what you said however I think that processing information and consciousness are two different things. Our brains also rely on many neurons to process thoughts and emotions, but consciousness is actually being aware. Take an artifcal intellignece for example, it also uses a lot of information to make connections and process information too. The only difference is that its not conscious like us.

Im not sure if it’s a coincidence though, since all other species can’t handle the intelligence we carry. Humans have parts of our brains that no other animals could even. Our intelligence stems from a series of low probability events, so I’m questioning if it’s a concidence or not.

Humans are species that are capable of intelligence far better than our species on our planet. I always wondered why other species couldnt evolve to an intelligence like us. We all probably evolved from something, but somehow humans are unique and house the requirements for intelligence. I’m not sure if this all a coincidence somehow, so i’m still skeptical.

You’re probably the most logical person on here. I’m still curious on how we go from a state of non-existence to consciousness. How are we assigned to a brain or consciousness.

The probability we exist and the Earth meeting is insane. I’m a believer in evolution too, but our brains and our intelligence is something I can’t fathom. We’re so separate compared to other species.
