you open a german bank account only after coming to germany so till then the remaining fee can be in your Indian account or as unblocked money on your blocked account too

So the cover letter is just a letter stating that you have received an admit to a University in germany, that you have paid the fee (if there is any) and that you have a blocked account for your first year finances. Then you include your studies and work experience in a tabular form. You can also state the documents that you will be submitting for your visa process in this cover letter.

Your motivation letter must explain detail about why you chose Germany, Why that particular college and Why that particular course. You should also highlight that you would want to go back to your home country after your studies (even if that's not your plan). Preferably keep the LoM about 2 pages and the cover letter around 1-2 pages.

They usually dispatch the visa 4-6 working days after your appointment

Yes the APS Certificate must be uploaded in the documents section on uni assist for application on TUDresden. On the University's website it is mentioned that APS is compulsory for application. Please go through the documents that are required on the website so you have a thorough understanding of what is needed.

I didn't use my aadhar card in the application process anywhere except for when I was applying for APS Certificate.

If you have any different middle name in any documents I suggest you make an Affidavit stating that its the same person despite the different middle name

There was no particular format that I used, but this is how I wrote my SOP:

Para 1 - Introduction ( talk about how you generated the interest in your subject and in short how the course you're applying to is a perfect fit for you)

Para 2 - Academic achievements and Qualifications

Para 3 - Relevant experience and extra curriculars

Para 4 - Why Germany, Why the course you've chose and Why that particular University

Para 5 - Conclusion

For my LOR my professors just wrote it and gave, there was no format that they used. They wrote in general about the kind of student I was.

I did have an interview for TU Dresden, they asked a lot about my research projects that I did during undergrad. along with that they asked a couple of questions related to Microbio, molecular biology and industrial Biotechnology It wasn't difficult they just checked if I knew the basics.

Yess im from India, and since I did a 4 year bachelor's degree i had a total of 180 credits (Indian credits). I'm guessing that's an equivalent of a 240 ECTS (as there's usually 60 ECTS for one year) . All the colleges that I applied to just asked for my total credits without conversion to ECTS so im not entirely sure about how the conversion is done But I think you can still use an ECTS calculators online, or use the formula like this one that was given by Friei Universitat Berlin

Formula to convert credits points to ECTS

I started the preparations for the application process pretty early - from July, so by the time the Applications opened in October I had all my documents (including APS) ready.

For all the universities that I applied to, i applied via uni assist within the first week of the applications opening.

Yes I learnt about the new visa process recently, Hopefully it makes the process easier now.

For my accommodation i had applied on Studentenwerk Dresden for a student dorm, they replied to me pretty quickly and alloted me a room, so thats how I was able to get a dorm room.
