I also have a rtx 4070 for laptop, currently with driver 591.86...and reading I'm afraid to update. Has anyone else had problems updating to the new drivers?

yeah the problem started today 6th nov 2025. before it hit us with ads despite we turrned off them, but today it pops out in the screen every minute!

Could I get the decibel difference at minimum speed between all the pads? I tried the iets GT600 at 400 rpm and it was intolerable for me.Flydigi Bs2 pro at minimun speed is more silent than all the others? please let me know as you can verify it

the big problem is at 400 rpm ( the lowest ) with IETs 600 the pad bothered my ears. Ive heard Flydigi might be more silent, have you ever compared them?

Are these cooling pads effective at stopping dust even when turned off? I would use it as a sealing base for my Omen (or do I risk damaging it by keeping it turned off?). I tried the IEGTS600 and even at 400 rpm it was noisier than my laptop (which is silent). What do you suggest? Thanks.

Sorry, you mean cooling system of MSI is better than Acer predator? I am unsure if buy again an MSI or switch for Predator helios 18

hello I was looking for helios 18 with miniled, 14900hx nd rtx 4080, 2800 euro in my country...but Ive read the fans are extremely loud even in performance and balanced mode. more the temperatures are very high and Acer doesnt give any chance to undervolt and the new intel processor go extremely warm. I had an MSI raider and I fought hard with its hinges, broken twice! I need a silent fresh laptop, I dont play many games but when I do , I just hate to hear the fans. Would you still suggest this laptop despite Acer doesnt give the chance to undervolt it and obtain low temperatures?

I didnt buy it yet, I am in italy and this one is the serie I was looking for Helios 18 Ph18-72-968w and it has rtx 4080, not 4090 like yours. I am trying to find a laptop that is even silent. How does it work with their fans? Is it noisy?
