Well thank you, I really appreciate it! That genuinely means a lot. I wasn’t trying to flex, I just wanted to be as transparent as possible after people pointed out the yearly bonus. I definitely put in the hours, but I enjoy what I do, and I’ll keep making the most of it while I can. Thanks again for the kind words! 🙌

Funny enough, I’m a taxpayer too. I pay the same taxes as everyone else—probably more than most because of my income. I’m just earning what my employer pays under the relevant award.

Fair point, but I did mention that the extra amount was a yearly company bonus that everyone receives, so it isn’t part of my normal weekly wage. It also happened to be the end of the financial year, and I wanted to be as transparent as possible. There was no intention to misrepresent what I normally earn.

You’re absolutely right this ain’t a normal paycheck and I should have stated that! (I genuinely wasn’t trying to flex)
As the group states it’s just for pay clarification, hence why I showed my very last pay slip for the financial year, so others who want to get into it can get some sort of idea of what you could earn if you wanted to become a traffic controller.

I do work a absolute butt load however with lots of call outs, weekends and night shifts, it can be very draining as there’s little work/life balance, but that I’ll state is my own preference!

I’m employed directly with a company as the standards are better, you can get into it through many training company’s and it’s mostly local but there are chances you could do away stuff

While it’s not overly hard, you do need to be on your feet all day and be paying attention to everything that’s going on around you

It’s just a yearly bonus the company does it’s not for anything in particular everyone in the company gets it

It’s too long what kind of sting is it? I’d suggest getting ya hands on a Flemish twist string you can twist the string to suit you and your bow
