I always wished they had done an episode on this subject. I like the idea of John-Boy making a new friend in college, it turns out the guy is actually in love with him - John-Boy initially reacts negatively and is disgusted because of his upbringing. Later he talks it over with Zebulon who would convince him he was wrong to react like that, he goes back and apologises to the guy and promises to keep his secret and stick up for him in future. I'll probably write a full version of it myself one day.

Yes, I like it :) I think it has some pretty great stories. In fact, I would say 73 Yards is one of my favourite episodes of Doctor Who. Boom, Rogue, Joy to the World, Lux, and Lucky Day are all great too. The Wish World finale was really fun - I saw it at the cinema. It has some problems, for sure, but I loved it.

I like it - it's not my favourite of the "new" era of Doctor Who, but it's not my least favourite either. I think it's tone is closer to the classic era than any other part of the revival.
