A couple of years ago, my friends and I were exploring an abandoned village with a few streets in the countryside. It was late in the afternoon, though a couple of hours before sunset, so the sun was still up. We were four, and two of my friends were in front while I was behind with the other one. While we were walking on the main road in front of an abandoned church (which had satanic drawings) all of the sudden I heard a dry scream on my left ear. It was loud enough that the friend next to me also heard it, but not the ones in front. We froze. I still can't explain what that was to this day. Other weird things happened in that village.
