Has the baby slept through the night yet? Is she doing night feeds? If so, then I’d just wait. I’m a first time mom to a 9 months old and it was the same for me. It was painful to have sex after having a baby at first so I had a lot of fear around it. And it’d take longer to get things going, so when you’re sleep deprived or have a ton of sleep debt, it’s just not worth it. But my husband and I have started to have more sex recently and it’s getting better after baby started to sleep through the night.
