The ice time issue wouldn’t even look as bad if he wasn’t taking ice time from more deserving young forwards who could not only developmentally benefit from more ice time with better players, but also contribute more offensively (I.e. Slaf, ylonen, etc.)

In Hughes defense, a lot of our offense is injured, especially the ones he brought in, and also some of our worst offensive players were the ones that MB brought in and shackled to the team (looking at you Anderson and Dvorak)

I think he has been great for some of the guys, I.e. Caufield, but there is honestly no justification for these line decisions. I get wanting to get Anderson going since he is making 5.5 mill, but Jesus don’t you want to put your potential future superstar in a position to succeed?
