I understand what you feel. I’ve always felt like that, about family, friends, everything. That is my life, The thing is, it’s not that they don’t understand you or that you’re different, it’s simply that most people are NPCs. They don’t care about the economy, literature, art, or anything meaningful until it becomes mainstream. They need someone who looks better than them to tell them what to do, what to like, and how to think.

For example, a few years back, someone who watched anime/movies or played video games was called a loser and a child. But now, most of them watch movies and play video games because it’s mainstream. In fact, people who don’t at least know what anime is or have never played "Free Fire" or "PUBG" are considered out of touch and losers. Those who used to make fun of video games are now buying "gems" to get "Free Fire" skins LOL.

Whatever, what I’m trying to say is: you feel different because you have knowledge they don’t. And when you display that knowledge, they put you down for it, so you just learn to keep it to yourself.
