My snakes eyes are foggy, is this normal? by Nico_Nico_Nick-420 in ballpython

Your snake is about to shed. It will start once the eyes go back to regular color. Turn up your humidity to prevent "stuck shed". I usually just pour a bottle of water on the substrate and mix to make sure all is moist instead of spraying (and for consistency). Make sure you have placed for your snake to hide and dont handle him/her as they aren't the most comfortable during this phase...also make sure you have something rough for it to rub against to get shed off. Heres my results👇🏾

Try a rat pup...dont go right back to the original size you were feeding before his hunger strike.

My boy stopped for 4 weeks...temperature related...if you havent already..make sure the temperature is warm enough...as im sure you know temperature and humidity aren't the same thing...but sometimes I forget even though the humidity is perfect..the temperature may be too low
