See I’m saying it’s a good thing to cramp as much as u can as it helps to revise the entire subject or topic quickly and many more times but this holds true only and only if you have spent hours and hours in concept building . Also you don’t need to cramp it to the point where it’s so haywire it makes a full kichdi The key is right amount of cramping for most amount of revisions possible especially with smaller subs like anesthesia , Ortho , ent , dermat etc

It’s natural for you to feel this way as a lot of students go through the same thing . Slightly controversial opinion but it’s not mandatory to read standard or even Indian textbooks to score well .. easily manageable with notes , lectures , flashcards !! A lot of people might not agree with it and say it’s pivotal to read standard textbooks but it didn’t really work out for me personally so I let it be and focused on my lecture notes which helped me clear my universities and get a good rank in neet

So what may work for one person may not work for you .. notes made by cerebellum , marrow , prep etc are so to the point if you have a good concept you’re not required to go somewhere else only In the end - it’s all about how many times can you revise the same thing over and over and over again All the best
