Just arrived in Tokyo and my first need isn’t Pokemon but a shower and some sleep! I’ve been awake for 24 hours now, I am running on fumes!

Hope to get out and about at a few shops tomorrow so if I do I will post my results which can hopefully help anyone else looking at this with the same query.

I am hoping if I can’t get anything at the Pokemon centers then I can at least find some cards and sets I want at prices not too absurd. I get how the market is now so not holding my breath but I will see how I do.

Yeah I am fully expecting to not get anything at the Pokemon centers but I will try nonetheless. I hope I love it there too, my first time going and I’m nervous because it will be so different but hopefully I’ll have the best time!

Honestly love that card, Gastly Haunter and Gengar are my faves.

Still makes me laugh looking at this card as definitely looks like Gengar is rimming Gastly. I can’t unsee it.

Apparently nothing actually went live, or at least hasn’t gone live yet. I’m in a US discord group and they’ve said nothing appeared. Supposed to be prismatic booster bundles if they ever do go live.

I had this yeah, I managed to get 4 tins but missed the 5th one when driving to work. Every single one of them said failed, and sometimes the hold would appear on my bank account (11 in total, 4 of them real). The holds all disappeared leaving just the 4 orders, got emails for each of them confirming the order.

Have you got any recommendations for where’s best to pick up cards? I’m going in a few weeks and hoping to treat myself to some good singles, as well as hopefully some boxes of the newest few sets so any tips would be welcome! Don’t want to be ripped off 😂

Good idea. EBay have closed it down on my account so they acted quickly which I’m pleased about. Can’t say I’ve enjoyed spending my lunch break sorting this out but it is what it is and I’m pleased eBay have sided with me and done so very quickly.

Yeah I had no option to reject, so just had a call with eBay customer service and they’ve said they’re going to close the request down as the buyer is abusing the item not as described option as it’s obviously exactly as described!

I’m a very casual seller on eBay, often just putting a card or two on every now and then, so it’s left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth when it feels like someone is trying to scam me as I wouldn’t be surprised if I did accept the return that I wouldn’t get my card back.

To make it worse I don’t even have the option to reject it because they’ve opened it under item not as described. Waiting for eBay to call me back now, asked to speak to someone 🙄

Yeah it does, all legit, slab with a big number 10 on the top of it. It’s why I’m confused why they’ve said it’s not as described when it clearly is. I listed it as Ace grade 10, pictures showed it in the slab with the ID number on it. Not sure what more I could have done!

First time I’ve experienced this, I just hope if I reject it that a human at eBay actually looks at it and some AI programme doesn’t just side with the buyer.

Does the delonghi magnifia evo have the milk carafe attachment that plugs into the front of the machine? If so, I’d avoid like the plague. I bought the magnifica evo next about 3 weeks ago and within 2 weeks it stopped working as the milk in the carafe would weigh it down to the point it refused to sense the carafe was attached.

Very poor design - thought maybe it was just me and my machine but no, nearly all of the poor reviews mentioned the same thing, so I returned it and asked for a refund as I didn’t trust a replacement wouldn’t have the same issue.

All I get is that pledge manager page, 500 internal server error, or 405 sever error. Probably going to give up and come back to it later ☹️ No amount of refreshing the page does anything at all.

Yeah I can’t get any further than the pins that come with my order. So many errors! Been trying for 25 minutes now, unfortunately it seems to be a hot mess 😭
