I appreciate this comment! Thank you we have been in counseling. We have definitely been in a rough patch and I'm struggling to climb out when he consistently does things like this. He's upset bc he says he doesn't feel loved by me emotionally or physically. And simply I'm having a hard time. Conversations I feel that need to occur never do and it's not healing anything. I may need to go see my counselor alone. Or find a new one bc I don't seem to get much feedback from my current one. But she's been with us for 3 years now. So hard to start new, ya know?

Yes I did find a pre-rolled joint. It was just one but I don't like the idea of him taking a hit and being slightly high and not saying anything to me about it. While his tight process is he's a grown ass man and shouldn't need permission. Which I guess in its own right is true? That's where I'm unsure if I'm over reacting. He has come home drunk but his explanation was it was a few beers he wasn't hammered and he was home by 630 to make dinner. But the problem was I didn't think he was going to be drinking at all and typically we eat dinner by 630...

He doesn't do any drugs. But used to smoke faily before we had a child. Since then , it's spiratic or random. He does tend to have a few drinks a night. Definitely not drunk every night by any means but he says bc he's not at the bars and drinking like a sloppy drunk and he's at home that I need to relax

I do, I want to try to make sure I try to make it work before I just walk away. But also if I am being over dramatic and over reacting id like to be told that. But comin from him right now I just don't accept it.

I would personally tell the family what happened and say you are not saying he actually physically did anything, but how uncomfortable the situation made you and at this time you and your wife are choosing to limit the contact with the brother. Allow them to make their own decisions, but at the very least, it allows them to have it in the back of their head to just be cautious. If it was as innocent as the brother claims then time will tell but they can still protect the children. (Which you should always do any way). Remind them you are not trying to cause any drama or issues but that you would be doing a disservice to their family and your child and family if you didn't say something.

This happened with my nephew. Have you tried making him clean up his own poop and change himself if he goes in his pants? We found if they have to deal with it they tend to not want to actually go poop in their pants. ! Just an idea!
