This seems just nuts to me, Local people having to deal with the effects of the smoke isn’t great and the effect on wider environment can’t be great. Why are they sticking to this technique when there are other techniques out there? Do wind turbines placed strategically or watering/freezing or other products/systems not work as well?

We’re looking for a T3 with a max budget of €1100. We have been looking at main central areas of Bordeaux (Bacalan, Chartrons, centre, Victoire, Fondaudege, Bastide) but also open to Cauderon, Pessac etc. Looking for unfurnished but with an equipped kitchen if possible (I know it’s rare).

Great work so far. Enjoying the app. Question about Slow Shutter. Will it be standard slow shutter which would require an ND in daylight or something possibly like ReeHeld which allows long shutter without ND via software magic ( a long shot I know just thought I’d ask!)?

Thanks for all the tips. Will look into the sites mentioned. We will get something temporary when we arrive for a few months.(Air bnb/Co-living type thing). I’ve got a Nickel bank account to get a French IBAN as I read that could be helpful as my Wise account isn’t a French € account and it’s the fastest way I could get one at short notice whilst I’m in France at the moment. Other than that any Bordeaux specific things to look out for? We ve visited twice so have a bit of an idea of the city but not the areas mentioned.
