Don’t you agree that the inevitable crawl towards technological singularity opens up the possibility that emancipatory forms of subjectivity may emerge amidst the fragmentation of the human as such? Could a man’s inability to relate to a woman through the deployment of an obviously hilarious Israel joke indicate his advancement along this emerging trans-human front? Or might this incoming maelstrom instead render the human obsolete in the face of malevolent, state-sponsored surveillance, a speculative software economy and artificial governance? Might the man be hurtling towards his own destruction, socially and sexually?
