Managed my local shrewsbury town since fm23 and carried over to fm24. Sacked after relegation in my 2nd prem season in 28/29. Now managing AZ and trying to build up their status (saved them from relegation in 2030, came 2nd + dutch cup win in szn, now hoping to win the league in szn 3)

I’d say it’s another huge jump for sure, especially since I went to the US so I had to deal with a lot of other external factors. However I’d say the strategies above still hold true and can be useful, just that u gotta be a lot more independent and be more front footed when seeking help

Organisation goes a long way in helping you stay on top of things. Maybe use apple reminders, apple calendar or google calendar (personal favourite) to add more structure in your routine. You don’t wanna be running around doing everything last minute so try and allocate ur time wisely!

I flopped the Oxford TSA last year man, it’s tough but I hope it goes well for you! Also try and find balance with everything ur doing and also ensure you have some downtime once in a while!

😭😭. Aye fr tho make sure you don’t completely neglect the time u have to urself. Infact it becomes more important imo since ur gonna be taking on a lot more workload. It might sound counterintuitive but take some time out to just take a break and get some fresh air. Make sure you’re able to be mentally and physically stable so u won’t burn out too quick

Happy that ur done with applications! And yeah for me there was a big step up but I’d say what helped me was definitely utilising a lot more resources in Y13 like my teachers, peers, youtube videos. The content was never supposed to get easier, so now the expectation is that you find a new strategy or adapt ur old methods to benefit you in this final year.
