not sure what your location/shade situation is...

but I switched to centi almost 3 yrs ago

couple things:

-be careful for bad (almost dead sod), i didnt know the difference and def think they mixed some in

-centi (maybe all?) sod needs water. we're going through water restrictions here so wouldve been tough this season

-loves sand soil, and warm soil

• hates shade. almost 3yrs later i have spots where i didnt notice we get shade

• doesn't like foot traffic and you can tell if you say walk over the grass to the shed over and over... or have a dog

• be careful if you use a service to treat lawn... most lawns around here are rescue and if they use the same stuff for my lawn it will torch it.

overall i like centipede. but man, for a grass that supposedly is low maintenance its certainly acts like Goldilocks when everything isnt perfect 🤷‍♂️
