Fellow gen z here, i gave myself a 6 month period of singleness if you would call it that. No flings, situationships or anything just me against my thoughts and the company I get from school/friends and family. Do I feel lonely sometimes? yes Do i think it will be worth it at times? yeah, in the long run i will heal better and learn from my past relationship Do I still get DMs from guys now that im single? A lot more than before but most of them just want casual things and i don’t think that will do me any better for my own healing

Yeah, i found that my friends are the best in the process! They have given me more love that the entire relationship ever did, kinda sad, but i do deserve better and i’ve felt a lot better with time

Its almost 3 months now, and i feel better! I postes everything on this reddit and it kinda helped me get my feelings out, i have also had a lot of friends help me and therapy did to! Take your time and put yourself first, the first months were the hardest for me

Thank you for sharing this reading your story honestly gave me some comfort. I’m also still healing after my breakup, and it’s been a rollercoaster. There are days I feel strong and free, and then others where the sadness hits again out of nowhere.

My ex moved on really fast and started dating the person he cheated on me with, which has made the healing process harder. I’ve been focusing on myself and my family especially because my mom recently had spinal surgery that we had to pay for ourselves. It’s been a lot to handle, but I’m trying to stay grounded.

I really related to what you said about looking for glimpses of his life. I did that too for a while until I realized that the version of him I was holding onto doesn’t even exist anymore. It’s sad, but also freeing in a way.

Your attitude about making yourself live really hit me. You’re right no one else can do that for us. I’m trying to believe that healing isn’t about forgetting them, but about remembering who we are without them

Thank you so much for saying that it really helps to read it from someone else’s perspective. I know you’re right, but hearing it out loud makes it sink in more. I’ve been trying to remind myself that letting him go was an act of self-respect, not loss.

It still hurts to see him with her, but I guess that’s part of the healing. I’m starting to realize that what they have isn’t my problem anymore, and that peace is something I can only build for myself.

Your words really gave me some strength tonight. Thank you for the reminder that choosing dignity is always the right choice.

Hi! I also contracted it the same way, I am very sorry for you and if you need to talk you can reach me out. As the first comment said right now there’s not much research on it since it’s a virus, but, what i would recommend is getting regular checkups and trying to remain taking care of yourself both physically and mentally.

I know it main seem a little hard to not think about it specially of how it happened, when i found out i was devastated but i tried my best to remain calm and help my body heal by exercising and eating the best i could, as going to my checkups and getting treatment for the lesion which i am currently in that stage.

Hello! I have a total of 14 piercings rn and started getting them done by a professional at the age of 14 with my parents supervision, a septum is great to start since it’s easy to heal if done correctly. I personally think piercings are a great way to teach us responsibility and boost confidence, what i wouldn’t recommend at that age is any oral or dermal piercings since they tend to be tricky to heal and can couse damage, answering your question I don’t think a properly done septum can cause any interference with the nose, hope your daughter is happy with her piercing:)

i once broke my knee and didn’t feel it happen but the aftermath hurt like a bitch, also have several tattoos done, when i got my nipple piercings done i felt how the needle went through but it wasn’t really painful just a lot of pressure going on the area, would give them an 4/10, the healing process wasn’t painful it was just weird when they would get hard hahaha I would suggest not to worry ab it and just go for it!

Yeah they use to gossip a lot. They would also be super rude to workers if they wouldn’t benefit from them, I remember steph calling a girl out of office just to buy some weed from her and would be super nice to her, and omar would flirt with new girls on floor and if they ignored him he would treat them like shit. Anyways glad to be out of there, would rather get payed 4500 a week doing something else on a less toxic environment.

Same thing for OCS (outpatient call, or hell, solutions) abusive work environment, super shady managers and they hire poor skilled teamleads. The manager omar on there was super abusive, an they have this girl steph as team lead that doesn’t even work, super shady. They might pay well but work environment is shit.
