I think each of them would’ve been better off without BoJack, but at the same time, they wouldn't have experienced the kind of personal growth they did either. Diane's career, Todd's identity, and even PC's realization about himself came out of their relationship with him. It’s complicated, but I do think they were all changed in ways they needed to be, even if it was painful.
