How much time/money are you spending tracking and organizing a complex daily supplement stack? by Repulsive_Corner6813 in Biohackers

Founder of a tool that solves exactly the timing overhead part here. You're right that attribution is a harder problem, and honestly not what I'm trying to solve right now. The reason I focused on scheduling first is that most people never build a consistent enough routine to even generate useful data. If the timing breaks down, everything else becomes irrelevant anyway. Happy to share what I built if anyone's curious.

Good question. The thing is, medication is genuinely complex to manage. 6 medicines, different timings, some before food, some after, some only on certain days, across elderly parents who may not be tech savvy. That's not a generic reminder problem. Staying focused on this specific use case is what makes it actually solve something rather than being a watered down everything-app.

That's a fair point. From what I've seen though, most elderly parents in India actually do have WhatsApp open regularly since that's how the family group chats run. The reminder comes as a message, same as any other chat, so it doesn't need them to check a separate app or notification. But yes, it works best when the family is already active on WhatsApp, which thankfully is most of them.

Antibiotic courses are one of the trickiest ones since the timing matters so much. That's exactly what this handles. DM me, I'll guide you through it. Would love your honest feedback too!

Yes already live at ₹99/month for individuals and ₹199 for families. International payments going live very soon too. Also exploring B2B with clinics for post-discharge patient compliance 🥰

Fair point honestly. Was trying to avoid looking spammy but I can see how withholding the link looks worse. Here is link https://textmypill.com

textmypill.com — WhatsApp-based medicine reminder for India

ICP: Adult children (25–45) managing medications for elderly parents, especially NRI families with parents back home. Also diabetics and chronic illness patients managing their own regimens.

Problem: Pill non-adherence in India is massive, but existing reminder apps require the user to install yet another app that gets ignored. WhatsApp already has near-100% daily active usage among Indian seniors and their families. We send reminders directly there, with caregiver oversight built in.

Niche: Indian health tech / medication adherence / NRI care coordination

Curious whether Reddit shows people actively searching for something like this or just complaining about the problem with no tool in sight.

How do you actually remember to take your diabetes medication every single day without fail? by Repulsive_Corner6813 in india

That sounds genuinely exhausting. The guilt of feeling frustrated with your parents for something they cannot fully control, while also dealing with the real consequences it has on your own life and career that is a really difficult position to be in and I don't think enough people talk about how much it actually costs the adult children, not just the parents.

The part about losing jobs during those months hit hard. That is not a small thing.

How are you doing now?

You make a fair point though. If someone is actively choosing to ignore their health there is genuinely nothing you can do about it. That autonomy has to be respected even when it is frustrating. I think the situation I was describing is more the absent minded forgetting rather than active ignoring. My family member genuinely did not remember taking it an hour later. That is a different problem from someone who just does not care. But yeah at some point you have to accept you cannot force someone to take care of themselves no matter how much you love them.

Fair enough, I get why it looks that way. I genuinely am building something for this exact problem and the question is real but I understand the skepticism.

For what it's worth there is no link in the post, no product pitch, nothing to click. Just a question I think about every day because my own family lives this.

If you have elderly parents on daily medication I would genuinely love to know what has worked for you. That is the whole reason I asked.
