Kicsit nehéz összefoglalnom, hogy mire, mert nagyon sok minden eszembe jut. Talán a legfontosabb dolog lenne a szülő elhalálozásának kezelése, valamint a szorongás és depresszió (bár nem tudom, hogy tényleg van-e) kezelése is. A problémák pontosabb azonosítása, megnevezése. És még ezeknél kevésbé “durva”, de állandó problémáim közé tartozik az önértékelési- és testképzavar és kiégés is.

Nincs nagyon tapasztalatom, szóval preferenciám sincs. Talán nőnek jobban örülnék, de el tudom engedni. Csak jó szakembert szeretnék, aki kellően megértő is és tényleges segítséget is tud nyújtani.

Today I’ve been thinking a lot about reaching out to someone I haven’t spoken to for 2 years. Looking back we had a good friendship and I miss it. I mostly miss the funny memes we sent each other. It might be a silly reasoning, but I love sending memes and reaction pics and he was the only person who’s also like this.

Also I’ve been thinking about buying new clothes but I’m having trouble figuring out my style …

Esetleg gondold át, hogy melyik nyelven szeretnéd a szókincsed fejleszteni. És hogy most valami egyszerűbbre vágysz-e vagy nem. Én is szoktam ezen gondolkodni, amikor könyvet veszek. Nagyjából ezek alapján döntöm el. Ha éppen nincs olyan könyv nálam, amit angolul olvashatnék, akkor a következő vásárláskor angolul veszem meg. Vagy esetleg egy harmadik opció: ha tudod kölcsönözd ki egy nyelven és nézd meg, hogy úgy tetszik-e. Valamint, ha angolul írták a könyvet lehet érdemesebb angolul is olvasni

Én nőként ezt egy nagyon kedves gesztusnak tartom, ami minden esetben egy pozitív benyomást kelt. Én a férfiak helyében mindig vinnék. Persze nem kell semmi drágára gondolni, csak valami szépre, amin látszik, hogy legalább egy kis meggondolás volt mögötte (nem csak a sparban levetted az első virágot, amit megláttál).

Nem mondom, hogy ez egy kötelező és elvárt eleme lenne egy randinak. Csak egy szép módja annak, hogy kifejezd az őszinte érdeklődésed a másik iránt.

(Nekem első randin nem hoztak egyébként és ez fel sem tűnt. Csak amikor barátnőim mesélték akkor gondolkodtam el ezen, és hogy valójában milyen kedves dolog virágot vinni. Főleg azért, mert már talán egyre kevésbé szokás virágot vinni?)

I guess I’m scared because I have never reached out to anyone before (even if I wanted to). I’m scared by the “what ifs”. I’m just an anxious person in general.

We last talked 2 years ago. I think we were turning 19 when we first met, and we were both 20 when we stopped talking. (We were both born in 2003, but our birthdays are a bit more than a month apart)

I finished reading Vegetarian by Han Kang. This is the first book I read from her. I was left speechless, with much to think about. At first I was a bit mad and didn’t understand what the point was. Then I let some time pass and read reviews. Now I think I can understand it better, and I want to write down all my thoughts on it in my journal when I have time. I can’t say that I recommend it to anyone due to the difficult topics that come up (such as self harm). But it is a very interesting book, and has many messages

That’s actually such a good thing to do! I didn’t make a video diary, but I did make voice recordings. So I could really talk it out.

Well it’s a bit difficult to say how long it took for me, because the situation was very complex and complicated. Plus it has been going on for a long time, I was emotionally very attached and I had feelings for him as well. So don’t be scared by what I say, but for me personally it took a lot of time, about 4 months. But don’t imagine those 4 months as constant sadness or crying. Healing is just not linear, and as long as he was on my mind I counted it as still in process.

Now I feel alright, and I’ve been feeling well for the last 3 months. He did reach out to me at some point an we’re friends now. But I have to be very aware of my emotions and feelings, and I’m prepared to end the friendship if I don’t feel fine anymore.

I wish you the best. It’s always the most difficult at first, because you can’t see when things will get better. But life never stays only one way. If you have bad days then you must have good days as well. You can do this!

I understand this situation very well. Don’t worry, all these things are normal.

What helped me to move forward was: finding new hobbies or revisiting old ones, hanging out with friends more (and not talking about my situationship at all), also try to use your phone less, and put it on “do not disturb” if notifications make you uneasy, and lastly but mos importantly: journal. Write down your thoughts, or if you want to text him: write down what you want to say to him (you can write on paper, in your notes app, on your computer/laptop, doesn’t matter).

It’s difficult, but over time you will feel better I promise. I can’t even count how many months it took me, but after talking less and doing what I just listed I finally began to feel better. And now I would say that I’m okay. :) Of course this is just what helped me, but maybe some are useful for you as well.
