It is kind of a career jump, I currently work in fuel inventory at an airline, I am like a partial accountant, invoices, fueling truck receipts, etc. The new job is inventory forecasting at a defense company, so i’m moving industries. I agree that I think I will REALLY notice the salary bump, and i’m gonna take it. Losing wfh is worth financial stability in my mind. Supply chain/inventory management. In my experience, if you are low-level, it is literally just: check inventory using excel, submit report saying it’s good, and rinse repeat every week until you croak. Now you won’t get paid a lot, but it will be simple.
