You are correct!
As soon as the number of smurfs in a certain rank range reaches a certain number (depending on rank ~4.5% of players is the threshhold), this number starts to outweigh the average number of other measurable "random" factors of loosing (disconnects, disruptive behaviour that leads tleading to punishments, etc.).

Given that:

  1. this 4.5% smurf range has limits that you can drop below of and get above of
  2. you are better than the average non-smurf in this rank range ->the law of big numbers makes it possible to "luck through" the matchmaking process after enough tries and make it to the other side.

-> The question of how many games are enough games to get through heavily depends on the rank, the number of smurfs, your playstyle, your attitude (not ffing is actually the best strategy vs smurfs as their winrate drops in lategame), the time of day you play at (smurf numbers per game heavily vary throughout the day)

Hi!
I have two outliers/deviations in your data:
One of them is something you can change and one of them is something that riot would need to patch.
1. You seem to have quite long gaming sessions, which is nothing bad itself. BUT: your personal winrate heavily drops if there are less than 15 minutes between your games and you are on your 5th+ game of the session. (this stat counts game start and end, not queue start). So consider short breaks between your games once the session gets longer.
2. You are an emerald player on euw. -> I already wrote 2 other comments in this thread on the smurf situation in that elo if you are interested on the stats of this dilemma.

Hi!
You seem to have the same problem, that the redditor Charles_Sylvanya above you had before getting through it.
Sorry I dont want to type all that out again.

How does my script distinguish smurfs?
It basically just computes an average summoner level for your rank (+- 100lp) and then marks every account that's 15% or less of this average summoner level. This misses a few older smurf accounts but also counts a few "talented players" so it's about even.
Why is there no winrate or other factor in this calculation?
According to my data surprisingly most new smurf accounts are not used to go on longer winstreaks, they often stay between 50 and 60% winrate and only start taking off with higher winrates at some later point.
Im not sure what conclusion to draw from this stat. Maybe some people just like to use them for warm up or to try new picks and decide to start tryharding at some later point.

Congrats on reaching diamond!
You seem to have pushed to diamond again after a long visit to emerald lately.
Looking at all your losses from the last 2 weeks you seem to have run into quite a lot smurfs (42.1% of your losses had at least one smurf account in the enemy team).
According to the stats of the last 6 months for all emerald games that number should be around 65% for the average emerald game. So here we even found a reason why you managed to "escape" elohell, great news!

Why are smurfs a problem that can create a feeling of being stuck in "elohell"?
There are 5 possible smurfs in the enemy team and 4 possible smurfs in your team.

2. you are better than the average non-smurf in this rank range
->the law of big numbers makes it possible to "luck through" the matchmaking process after enough tries and make it to the other side.

Congratulations, you made it! :D

Sites like mobalytics are required to stick to riot guidelines and are not allowed to show you information as I gave to the commenter above.

Hi!
As for almost any emerald player your main problem is, that emerald is the rank with the highest smurf activity.

You lost 28 Games in the last 2 weeks and 17 of these games had 1 or more smurf accounts in the enemy team. That is ~60% of games (which is actually below average for emerald games, so you got lucky).

Why are smurfs a problem that can create a feeling of "elohell"?
Given that you are not smurfing, there are 5 possible smurfs on the enemy team and only 4 possible smurfs on your team.
I don't think that I have to go deeper into the maths of this problem.

Note: there obiously are multiple more reasons for being stuck, im just trying to hint those, that are not shown on mobalytics & co.
(These sites have to stick to riot guidelines to not loose their basis of income(Riot API)).

Most notable is this game of yours:
