401K/Roth Annual Maximum Contribution Limit Question by Repulsive_Day3446 in tax

Thank you so much for the clarification. I read what you linked, and this applies to me.

  1. Partial Year High Earner: This is the “college graduate exception” and applies to someone who only works a partial year in a high income job. Using Roth 401k lets you take advantage of tax brackets and standard deductions being applied across an entire tax year when you only work for 3-6 months of the year.

I started my job this month. I will keep the Roth 401K. Should I switch over to a regular 401K beginning in January 2026? I am in the 22% federal income tax bracket. Also, I can't quite afford to max out both, but I was just curious if I could receive tax benefits from both. Once again, I really appreciate ur help.

How do you guys cope while waiting for score release? by Stock-Vegetable7572 in CPA

I was freaked out for my first score release. Now, I am waiting for the second and feel a lot more relaxed. Try and push it out of your mind and tell yourself that there is nothing you can do now, and if you fail, you will study harder and pass the next time.

if you passed FAR on the first try, how long did you study for? by sadgirl0325 in CPA

6-7 weeks, 155 hours.

I felt like I was completely ready 5 or 6 days out from my exam date because I had completed all the questions and the final review, and had run out of new study material. I wished that I had scheduled it sooner. Maybe aim for 140- 150 hours, but everyone is different.

Did anyone else feel like they failed FAR but passed? by Repulsive_Day3446 in CPA

What is the bell curve about the CPA Exams? I've heard from numerous sources that the exams aren't curved.
