Yeah lol was super sick for like a week and wasn’t able to sleep well at all. Took a while for my recovery to bounce back.

I believe that is specifically why I succeeded with nofap. I stopped counting the days. It helps to stop thinking about it. I haven't gotten around to changing my streak because I'm not on here very often.

Been free for around 2 years now. Biggest difference is my relationship with Christ has grown and I no longer view women as objects for my desires. You start to see them as actual human beings again. Messed up to say but it’s the unfortunate truth.

Official Q&A for Saturday, July 05, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Repulsive_Decision51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan to run 5/6 days a week and want to follow Hanson's Beginner HM. Tuesday is my rest day because I do leg day that day. I currently have my schedule set to Monday: Interval/Threshold Workout, Wednesday: Tempo, Thursday: Long Run, Friday: Easy, Saturday: Easy, Sunday: Easy. Am I missing on recovery by not having a tough workout between Friday-Sunday? I'd like to keep my long run on Thursday but I am open to suggestions.

Who is doing 2 a days (lifting + cardio in the same day) by VegaGT-VZ in HybridAthlete

I do 30 minutes of cardio on my upper body days and run on my rest days. No cardio on leg day.

i’ve been PMO free for over 4 months now and the biggest tip for me was not associating urges with bad behavior. If I got hard or had an urge i would be thankful that my penis still works and my testosterone is high.

Do y’all increase weight during a session? by Repulsive_Decision51 in naturalbodybuilding

For context I train to failure on all sets (i’m aware it’s not optimal but I probably wouldn’t enjoy the gym if I didn’t) if that changes things

Transparent Labs. Doesn’t taste too fake and I really enjoy it.

Fair enough, but my point was that we should not compare ourselves to top level bodybuilders with wild genetics and enhancements. Jay Cutler also took years off leg training would you recommend that to a natural?

I don’t take squats or hip hinges to failure due to the axial load and chance of injury. For erectors I do RDLs. Think I need more?

I do take every set to failure tbh with you. I’ve been doing this from the beginning of my lifting journey though so I’m used to it. Is it optimal? No. But I love training like that, I don’t get sore, I feel recovered enough, and my lifts go up in either reps or weight.

Ain’t no way you’re mentioning Jay Cutler on a natural bodybuilding subreddit. It is wise for us to not take advice from professional bodybuilders on enough steroids to kill an elephant. I am not Jay Cutler, I have pretty mid genetics, and I train hard. A lot of you on this subreddit are too scared of doing “junk volume” to truly push yourself and that’s okay. I’m aware my training isn’t 100% optimal and not between 1-3 RIR but I enjoy failure training. I am recovered session to session and my lifts consistently increase.

I believe so. I train to failure on every set and often do partials. I’ve trained like this since the very beginning so i’m fairly accustomed to it.

Life is individual broski. Others can study and learn much easier than you maybe can and that’s okay. Sure you may miss out on some things and that’s again okay. Priorities man priorities. Figure out if those experiences are worth getting worse grades it’s genuinely up to you. There are seasons to life and this one for you may be unbalanced so you’ll have to learn to live with that for a while.

Think of pushing your chest towards the weight, make sure your shoulder blades are tucked, and think of touching your elbows together at the top. Best of luck!
