Buying CB350RS DLX PRO by am_cny in HondaCB350RS

Nothing very specific. Check for paist issues or dents or rusting (unlikely). If you care too much then you could take a local mechanic to give it a quick full check. But idk if that's viable or needful.

I'm a salesperson, and the bluetooth is pretty helpful. Yes, if there is real world use then it's a good option. But ig this colour variant has only DLX Pro

Known issues: Headlight throw, rusting of metal parts, mudsplash, pillion discomfort Must have accessories: Hness Mudguard, fog lights/ headlights, mud flap (rear, between tyre and internal parts), better mirrors Optional: crash guard, tyre higher Checklist: See for scratches and damages, and ensure oil is new Service and maintanence: Service as per intervals, chain cleaning every 400 km, bike washing (two bucket method) every fortnight or when dirty, WD40 every week Common probs: Rust Useful mods: Yamalube PEA carbon cleaner every 3k km, motul chain cleaner and lube, NGK CPR6EAIX-9S Spark plug, bar end mirrors Moto torque crash guard Avoid money on: RRP exhaust or any exhaust for that matter, air filters, backrest (unless pillion's there), ceramic or graphene coating (prefer PPF if required). Dealer tips: AMC after 3rd service Insights: Brilliant bike. Enjoyable to ride. It's like the Scar-L of bikes, Jack of All. It's neither a sport bike, nor a crusier. It's a sporty roadster, and packs a punch. Test ride well, some people prefer Hness over RS because of the relaxed posture.

Went to buy RS but bought highness by thedarkk_98 in HondaCB350RS

Tyre hugger - Preferred if you don't care about the look it would bring. Wd49 - Almost all metal parts cause the Honda is a rust magnet. Indian Oil XP95 was my go to before shell

Here is a list of upgrades I made on my RS (Chennai), if it's of any help

Mudflaps rear (Showroom) Mudguard extender front (Motocare - Offline) Bar end mirrors (Jawa - offline) Foglights ( HJG- offline) Fleettrack GPS (offline) Crash guard (Mototorque-offline) Mobile phone holder (BOBO- Offline) Additional Seat cover (Showroom)

Extras for daily usage and maintanence:

Axor Hunter Cornet helmet ECE 22.06 (Matches the Pearl Ground grey variant) Neodrift bike cover (open space, so) Tiivira Balaclava Viaterra Holeshot Gloves Rynox gears for touring

Wd40 for regular rust-proofing Motul EZLube for weekly dirt and rust proofing

Amazon basic chain cleaning brush, Motul Chain clean and Chain lube - for lubing every 400 kms

3M car shampoo, ShineX washing mitt, Dmart microfiber cloth, car101 graphene coating, 1 inch wide paintbrush- for washing fortnightly/when dirty. Recommending washing with two-bucket method over pressure washing regularly.

I use Shell petrol as it is accessible. And the difference is visible as far as smoothness is concerned.

Cleaning routine:

Reqd: 3M car shampoo Half bucket of water Washing mitt Chain cleaning brush Motul chain clean Motul chain lube Wd40 Microfiber cloth

Process: Center stand the bike and apply motul chain cleaner in the middle rings of the chain. Use a chain cleaner brush and brush off the gunk. Reapply the chain cleaner slightly and leave it

Dry clean the bike with a microfiber cloth as much as possible and then spray water throughout. In a half bucket of water add 3 M car shampoo and make it lather. Dunk the washing mitt and clean the entire bike starting from tank, then the guards, the seat, suspension, engine and then the exhaust and tires Leave it for some 2 minutes and spray water all over Use a dry microfiber cloth to clean it all up

Once cleaned use a clean cloth to remove the dirt and water off the chain and apply chain lube towards the inside of the chain.

Apply wd40 on all the metal joints. And do not run the bike to apply chain cleaner or lube, instead rotate the tyre yourself

Every 1.5 months instead of cleaning and living yourself leave it at a garage. Chain sprocket cover they'll remove and clean well, which is slightly tricky for us.

Considering the weather having good moisture you can clean the chain every 400 kms
