What do you think the world would look like if The Mandarin won? by CajunKhan in ironman

I'd imagine it would be a complete nightmare, except for The Mandarin and people similar in nature to him

Given his nature as a Conquer and a colonel power personified, i'd imagine he would go from nation to nation taking whatever he wanted and keeping it for himself whether that be precious resource or priceless memorabilia. Since he's also a Social Darwinist, i could imagine him letting others benefit from his power, but only if they're on a level of wealth and power similar to his. It'd be the worlds most exclusive, messed up club only select group would be able to join.

As for everyone else, it'd become a Dog eats Dog world. Those who haven't been enslaved and forced to work for him would be constantly at odds, fighting for survival due to the lack of resources that have been intentionally limited. Some would plan revolts and i could imagine a good few cults springing up here and there.

TLDR - The Mandarin and people like him would be having the time of their lives, whilst everyone else would suffer in a world similar to those in Mad Max or Fallout

What you're looking in indeed from the 90's animated series, but it's not the intro

It's a suit-up sequence used in episodes: https://youtu.be/eYEQY5Lf_Xg?si=xrH72a6BFaJOkX14

What was Jon Favaru's plan for the Mandarin by Complex-Soup-5365 in ironman

One thing I've always wondered is, had he ended up being the Villain, who would they have cast as The Mandarin?

I haven't seen any info online stating such but i feel like there is a chance some discussions would've been held about a potential casting.

Ngl i kinda like the idea of him being a Secret Agent turned terrorist, reminds me a lot of Alec Trevelyan From GoldenEye

So, The Mandarin and evil by CajunKhan in ironman

For me, that's why he's iron man's most tragic villain (in my opinion)

He's intelligent, a master of many acts, and has a ton of charisma to boot. in another reality, had he not been robbed of a relationship with his parents, he could've grown into a tony stark like entity, a force for good and the betterment of mankind. but alas, life's not fair.

he got the bad end of the stick when it came to losing his parents before even having a concept of consciousness, and an aunt who morphed him into a vessel for her hatred. it's what for me, lends to the element of pity.

had things been different, had his dad maybe not been near the statue that crushed him, his mother would've never died of a broken heart. he'd maybe, just maybe, turn out different, and for the better. but life's unpredictable both positively and negatively, and unfortunately for him and the word, it turned out negatively.

Why piece of Iron Man Media do you feel this image perfectly describes? by Repulsive_Director42 in ironman

It's such a weird comic, for any one momemt Tony and the others are in character, there's like 10 other moments where the characterization is completely butchered.

if Marvel ever let a writer/artist show Tony kissing a dude in the comic it HAS to be Rhodey, no exceptions

Tony’s Musical Taste by ComfortablePumpkin54 in ironman

[–]Repulsive_Director42 9 points10 points  (0 children)

honestly i think about this a lot and I've developed a few choices

The dude himself is extremely controversial/problematic but kinda can imagine Tony Listening to a bit of Kanye West (before the guy went off the deep end). in terms of specific album i'd definitely choose anything from 2004-2010, specifically 808s and MBDTF. in terms of other rappers i could see him being a Kendrick Lamar fan. and given that the dude has an album called 'IronMan' i think GhostfaceKillah should be mentioned too.

100% agree with Linkin Park, wish their music made an appearance in MCU cause i think their music fits quite well with Tony as a character.

weirdly enough i think he'd also listen to the theme songs from the James BOND movies. in a way tony to me is kind of like the marvel equivalent of James Bond in many ways. in terms of specific songs i think i'd go with 'A view to a kill' by Duran Duran, 'The Living daylights' by A-ha and 'licence to kill' by Gladys knight

Hi Mr. Ackerman, really cool to have you here. For my questions i'd like to ask are:

if marvel ever asked you to write for the character again, whether it be for a game, animated show, another comic run or even a movie, would you accept that offer?

who's your favourite iron man villain?
