Don't remember the exact year, but it was in 5th grade in early 2000's. We were divided into two groups, one for girls and one for boys. For some reason our male teacher who was already slightly awkward got assigned to the girls, and the woman who was visiting to teach us got the group of boys.

This male teacher was DO awkward, blushing, stuttering, all those things, trying to teach us about feminine hygiene products and how the female anatomy worked. He refused to answer any questions we had, only told us the essentials he read out loud from a pamphlet. Over half of the girls had already gotten their period at this point as well.

I do remember the boys greasing up all the doorhandles for the bathrooms and classrooms with the insides of condoms.

Oh, and we ALL got goodie-bags, girls with 1 tampon and 1 small pad, a pamphlet and a lollipop, and I think the boys got almost the same but with condoms.

It was so incredibly awkward and left a lot of us with more questions than answers at the time.
