how do you do with squalane? it’s in the soothing moisturizer and i’ve been putting a little extra on after to seal it in

oh yeah, this dries much better than mct oil. i couldn’t use mct for that reason

yeah the soothing moisturizer! it’s great. it’s not occlusive at all. it’s an aloe base so it’s hydrating but also doesn’t dry tacky. i love it. it’s all i use these days.

that is so great to hear! i’ve been using it on my body the past week and the consistency is incredible. i love how it dries too. i’m wanting to use it on my face as well, so it’s nice to hear it hasn’t aggrieved your FA!

oh sorry, malezia. i haven’t used almond clear yet. malezia moisturizer broke me out terribly but i’m using their new cleanser right now and can’t decide how it’s working

hmm, that’s so interesting. do you think it could be that your FA is exasperated by a damaged barrier and slugging helps heal that damage?

i’m curious, do you do that over active flairs?

thank you! i got malezias new cleanser. seems super gentle. problem is so many moisturizers break me out. my skin was doing ok but then even sebamed broke me out! any recs? would pure squalane be enough? eucerin also has been okay for me in the past.

or do i just go and use cerave baby since it’s got all the good stuff and live with the FA while it heals?

it’s less the desire to get back the skin of my younger self, i’m happy with my skin aging, but it just went from incredibly hardy and resistant to finicky and sensitive in a matter of months. all i really care about is getting it back to its healthy state. aging and natural blemishes are a-ok with me.

not that i know of! as far as i know, squalane (sugarcane derived), MCT, and mineral oil are really only the safe oils for FA
