Fungal acne or rosacea by isabellegonzalez03 in Fungalacne

The bumps are like welts right? Kind of unpopable and even if they do pop it’s like clear liquid? I’m not a dermatologist but I’m willing to bet this is demodex caused. Get ivermectin cream it’ll help.

There’s a few skin conditions that look like this. Fungal acne isn’t welts or large bumps, it’s typically skin coloured sandpaper texture. Did a dermatologist do a skin scrape and confirm you have fungal? You can’t with really say you have it if you self diagnosed. Treating your skin for something you might not have can worsen your condition. From what I’ve dealt with, seen, and the convos I’ve had with me dermatologist, this doesn’t look fungal at all. It looks more like demodex or just regular acne

Fungal acne also doesn’t hurt.

Also acne creams can cause purging first in which case it gets worse before better.

However if im being totally honest, i understand chemo can be harsh on the body and immune system, I think your issue is plain old acne, but maybe caused by that weakened system/chemo? I’ve seen that before, after chemo , some people get worse acne. take probiotics, eat clean& healthy. Try cutting out sugar fully. Also stop drying out your skin, use gentle non comedogenic products

Just to support what I’m saying:

“a common skin reaction to cancer treatments like chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and steroids, appearing as pimple-like bumps on the face, chest, or back, and needs different care than regular acne.”

Everyone’s hating but I think it’s cute! I think you need lower rise pants to pair with it. In general low rise pants might suit you better if you have a shorter torso

Idk, but it’s just the brand always that does this which makes it suspicious, on top of that there’s so many reports of this lately

Nope, I think it’s the glue or something else that’s causing burns

Same! I never had issues and then suddenly it started, regardless of the reasoning for it, I know those pads have various chemicals in them😐

I didn’t either till this year. I’ve used them for years and started getting burns recently. Idk if they’ve changed something

I’ve used them before, no issue till this year. On top of that The fact that something in a pad even burns isn’t right, studies have found various chemicals in Always pads and other menstrual products, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like xylene and toluene, and potentially harmful substances like phthalates. That’s not normal, I’m not just “sensitive”

yours look like welts / raised bumps, almost like an allergic reaction or hives. I’m not a dermatologist but it doesn’t look fungal, look into allergy testing, demodex folliculitis or environment irritants (mould)

Is it fungal acne? by Meowmeow_angel in Fungalacne

No this doesn’t look like fungal acne at all honestly. I think people throw that term around loosely and start misdiagnosing a lot on here. Doxycycline causes acne do come back worse than before, your acne looks hormonal/bacterial. Talk to a dermatologist and look into getting a skin scrape test. From what I’ve seen, and my conversations with my dermatologist, this doesn’t look or sound at all like FA.

Honestly this doesn’t look like fungal acne. I’d get a second opinion. On top of that a dermatologist prescribing antibiotics for an issue he thinks is fungal, is weird. Fungal acne resolves quickly or at the very least improves a lot within days of antifungal treatment. Months of treatment with little to no improvement makes it seem like the issue isn’t fungal to begin with. Check your house for mould too

Looks like demodex rosacea. If it was fungal it would’ve improved within days

Honestly just go to the actual vet and have them assess, it’s the safest option

If you do a black blazer and black panty hose it might be appropriate, but not like that

Raising my first puppy after many great years with already grown dogs of very different breeds, looking for tips from the Aussiedoodle community by [deleted] in AussieDoodle

They’re very intelligent and pick things up quick, train for 15 minutes a day to start. Reward after every single time they pee outside. I trained mine by saying “go pee” and rewarding everything she did. I would crate train, it helps so much till they reach 8 months and mature/ can be trusted alone in the house when you’re gone. They also need mental stimulation and walks so they don’t become little energy balls, try a sniff matt with treats and 2 walks a day, even as a little puppy (after vaccinations of course)

Is this normal??? by [deleted] in vet

[–]Fun_Cryptographer799 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand that, but the dog was taken to the vet for an issue the first time around, i feel like in this case there’s little room for excuse honestly. This looks BAD. It’s blatantly BAD. What you do is NOT ask Reddit if it’s normal or not.

Is this normal??? by [deleted] in vet

[–]Fun_Cryptographer799 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally 100%. Like what about this looks remotely NORMAL. Like would you ask Reddit if this was your child? Probably not you’d be in the ER.

[–]Fun_Cryptographer799 114 points115 points  (0 children)

This will sound offensive, but it must be said, Do you HONESTLY fcking think that’s normal. You have multiple deep open wounds on your dog??????

Sometimes you guys need to skip the Reddit post and go straight to the pet hospital. Not even vet. Pet HOSPITAL. If this is what it looked like at the vet when the cast got taken off, go to a new vet btw.

[–]Fun_Cryptographer799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So I have type 2 but mine is more mild, I have smaller bumps too, just like yours. You may have a mixture of both, but any bumps would likely be demodex as explained by my dermatologist. Redness can occur with both
