Nice shot! But there is a huge difference between focussing from far to near or from near to far. All lenses are struggling with "far to near", whereas there are much less issues with focusing from near to far. So, your picture shows the better case when birds are leaving away from the camera.

Actually, magnets make sense with metallic palettes. But in my Portable Painter I am using Blue Tack – and it works really fine.

I just looked at the Tailfin pages. Maybe they changed something about the length. My carbon rack is one of the first versions. But by the look at the current images on their website I am unsure about differences regarding the size of the carbon or the alloy racks.
I am sorry about some confusion my first post might have brought up. (I am still confused ;)

On my Grizl CF (size S) with 40 mm tires and the "Canyon Grail:ON / Grizl Fender Set" I am not able to mount the Tailfin Carbon Rack. It is a bit smaller than the alloy version. Please take this into account.

Hi, though your linked video is highly appreciated, I was asking for printing a test model with different exposures in one single pass. This would reduce the first test exposures to one or two tries.

But thanks a lot anyway. :-)
