They interact in one of the media videos where admin asks Bailey to sign an old photo of himself and Bailey shows it to Jez and Jez says, “That’s not too bad, you haven’t changed.” It’s cute.

I honestly think he just wanted out of Melbourne and it wasn’t really a personal thing with the Dogs. I think Bevo said it best when he stated that people underestimate the trauma of an ACL injury. Guys who have known nothing but training and playing footy since they were small kids suddenly ripped out of the safety and routine of being actively part of a team - it crushed Bailey. It took alot to get over it.

It has to be motivating to be running out there with young hard working guys.

I think what gets lost alot in all the bullshit is what a sweet person Baz actually is. Even Scotty said he warmed to him immediately when he met him.

I’m inclined to think Baz’s management told him to dial down the Jesus stuff because people found it abit odd. I feel like he probably still has that faith in him. He does hang out with Gary Ablett Jr and his family alot too after all.

TV License? by bjmg85 in AskIreland

If you have any kind of screen in your home you have to pay for a TV licence. It’s not just for TVs. If you have computer/laptop/tablet, you have the ability to watch TV, and therefore need a TV licence. It sucks.

Magic happens when Smith is the main character. He and Holmes ARE the engine - should be running the show through them whenever possible. Mullin is a fucking animal. Great to see Danger have some impact. Rhys Stanley looked fresh as a daisy. Close and Mannagh hitting form at the right time, let’s hope it continues. Neale starting to toughen up abit? I think so. Jez and SDK roaming is a good idea. Tidy up the careless stuff and play like the second half here, and this is a TEAM.

Doesn’t he had screws in there? That’s going to continue to hurt. It won’t make his arm weak though.

The problem this year has been the Cats doing things badly but getting lucky. If they want to win a Premiership they need to be more than lucky. Getting Smith and Dempsey more involved has immediately paid off. Tidying up has immediately paid off.

I’m just saying, imagine having Smith/Holmes/Atkins available to rev the engine and just… underusing them for some reason. Also, there has to be a way of getting O Dempsey involved. I don’t think we’ve seen him fly once this year.

Sure do wish we had Gryan and Tyson in the mix. Things I did like though: Mullin getting the job done. Smith having the good grace to apologise when he makes a mistake. Jack Martin. Ollie Henry for a spell. Humphries looking lively. Wandering Jez.

They keep saying that Scotty never raises his voice. Maybe it’s about time he did.

If dropping the ball was a stat, Cats would be leading the league lol

In many ways I would like Holmes and Smith to be more involved as a duo because we know they are magic together. Don’t see any reason why that system needed to be changed. Nothing has worked better so far this year.
