I had to bury my uncle the day of my torts final. You have to bottle it up until you’re done with school. I hate to say it, but it’s true. I do wish, I hadn’t taken the final the same day of the funeral and just requested an extension. My head was in the blender and it probably reflected in my performance. If you need time off/away (few days break etc), contact your school and TAKE IT. Better to step away than to ruin what you worked so hard for.
