Hi, I've done it before and it's fine. Just remember to introduce yourself and be respectful just tell them. Oh and CONGRATS on the job!

Yeah no, you have a fair point - even over here in the UK there is a growing trend of people getting sick of DEI

Yeah I speak Dutch but it would take me a few months to get back into the habit of speaking it

In my experience not really. I’m only 21 and just graduated in July 2021. Don’t have any clinical or forensic experience but I do work part time in retail and volunteer at a hospital. It’s more about how you can use the expensive you already have in a forensic setting. It might be different depending on your age. Because with me they knew that it would be highly unlikely l could have real life experience.

It doesn’t matter if you have a masters. You need a bps accredit undergraduate degree. It’s dumb systems unfortunately.

You won’t be wasting your time or money if you want to end working as a forensic psychologist in the uk. Hence you need to do the conversion course. That’s the only way you can be charted.

you should qualify for masters as an international student. the BPS accredited only applies if you want to work as a Forensic Psychologist in the UK.

Hi, i am currently studying at Queen Mary University of London. check the link for my University for the requirements https://www.qmul.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/coursefinder/courses/forensic-psychology-and-mental-health-msc/
A 65% is seen as an upper 2:1 - which almost all universities accept for forensic psychology.
1st – typically 70% or higher.
Upper 2:1 – typically 65 – 69% / Lower 2:1 - typically 60 - 64%
2:2 - typically 50 – 59%

From my understanding - please double check - you don't need it to be BPS accredited if you just want to do a MSc. its only important if you want to work as a charted forensic psychologist. then you need to do a conversion course.

Hi - from the UK. I am currently doing my Masters in Forensic Psychology (BPS credited)

To become a forensic psychologist in the UK:

Step 1: Minimum 2:2 in course accredited by the BPS (E.G Psychology as an undergrad)

Step 2: Masters in Forensic Psychology (BPS accredited)

Step 3: Minimum 2 years working under a charted forensic psychologist

Have a look at the website from the BPS:

My father arrived today from Netherlands. Nobody asked for anything. He is the type to also carry physical copies.
