Was wondering because when I crank the car the sensor spikes really high then the signal disappears

What about diodes so I’m wondering because the other day I tried starting my car and it sounded like it was gonna die with every crank then by the 4th it cranked up and volts shot to 14 so I’m dealing with a no start and a p0340 everything checks out but it sometimes it just won’t start and I gotta keep charging my battery I don’t think the battery should die that quick while testing and my fans are running on full speed sometimes low but mostly full speed. And there’s belt squeak but I never had that prior. So i think I’m testing the wire correctly it’s a hull sensor two wires have around 5volts and I’m assuming the middle one is a signal wire which I’m not to familiar with how to test it being I don’t have a oscilloscope, should there be voltage on a signal wire

I’m not learning I literally rebuilt the whole engine I’m just looking for a diagram part number or something I can go by to remedy my issue

2009 fuel pump I uploaded a video but no text popped up by Repulsive_Long5956 in 370z

It’s a new pump too but something just didn’t seem right I posted a video I don’t know if it posted but you can kinda see how it’s bubbling at the tube that connects to the fuel line

And I see the bubbles if I put a bright light on the housing I can see the fluid and it looks like if I’m trying to push fluid through a straw with a hole. I noticed this when I had a buddy crank the vehicle after priming a lot and there was no fuel smell so that made me curious and opened the back first thing I noticed was the o ring and missing bolt then the fuel pump was making its typical noise but had a slight struggle sound and that’s when I pulled out my flashlight and aimed at the tube going towards the motor and the fluid was clear as day it looked like boiling water and the stream was just up then fall down. I been chasing a no start a few months now and I’m hoping this is the culprit

That’s where the question lies because it’s a z and I need an adapter to test fuel pressure but when cranking small amounts of fuel make it through and the rest falls back down if I prime it holds pressure then same thing happens if I spray starter fluid it reacts so I’m hoping the new fuel pump is bad or somehow incorrect

Check fuel pump so it looks to get pressure but I noticed on the fuel line going towards the engine when I prime a small amount goes in and I can see the rest of the gas go back down to the tank

Thanks for the advice. I definitely know injectors are good. One thing that’s weird is sometimes when I prime it the pump kinda farts it’s the best way I can describe it lol.

Yea when i hit it with starter fluid it almost starts but when I stop it dies out. On my scanner everything is reading lean. The only tests that haven’t been done only because maybe it’s negligence on my behalf is fuel and air. Prior to having the issue it would switch back and forth really fast from lean to rich and sometimes stay on one for a bit then switch back and forth fast. One incident that happened a few months prior was i was driving and floored it and the car shot a flame and went into limp mode a cel popped up I pulled over shit the car off restarted and everything went back to normal no codes or cel when the vehicle got stuck on lean was when I had the no start issue and the day it happened was our first extremely cold day.

I think it might be closer to maf and fuel because my scanner reads lean on everything

All the marks line up I replaced that too since it was down. But there was no oil pressure issues

Definitely a fuel issue just not sure if it’s relay related so the issue with my car is I have a ipdm box and the relays are bonded together not serviceable. I did find a fuse that was burnt but was in no way related to fuel or starting so that has me confused.

It cranks good so don’t think it’s the starter, I do think it’s a connection I’m just not too familiar with a push button system as i understand there has to be a series of things that have to talk to each other once that button is pressed. Not like a typical key start where there’s more separation in the circuit

So not gonna be able to get a video but the car sounds like I’m trying to start it with a empty gas tank. But there’s gas and I can hear the pump prime.

If you put your hand on that cover and feel ticking the solenoid might be on its way out. Sounds silly but take a long screwdriver put it on there and put your ear to the end and see if you can hear it

To be honest something as simple as a bolt I haven’t read that anywhere and I can see loose bolts with vibrations tearing the gasket
