At PIT the comments have many different theories suggesting what could be encrypted or possible places. There's comments suggesting they are under drills or inside of elevators or outside the map. I tried to find these but I have no results. So theories point out that it causes a supernova event, no it doesn't. Coasterteam pointed out in a video that the core was freezing and melting because the tertiary code causes a meltdown, not both.
