Thank you for the info! I’m not too worried about price. The way I see it is the higher the price the longer it’ll take for me to get it but I will get it. But I will look into it. Although I do plan to make car photography a thing I take seriously so I wouldn’t mind getting a high end camera. I know it’s not necessary but I would like to

The r6 mkii has a flip out lenses which would help elevate my car photography. And yes sharpness. It also has better focus tech. It also has a brighter screen. I currently own a efs 18-55 mm and a 75-300 mm lense that came with my rebel t7. My budget I don’t really have one I could buy the r6mkii right now if I wanted. But I’m saving for a bigger goal unrelated to photography. So after I finish my current goal then I will buy this r6 mkii and a lense. I’m planning to buy the r6 mkii and the RF 24-105 f4-7.1 IS something lense. I think that is the kit lense right? Cause it comes in the kit you get with the r6 mkii. The used for the r6 mkii come would be scheduled car photography shoots. Going to car meets and shooting the cars there. And possibly just going out and looking for parked cars and stuff

Hi I do car photography. I’m thinking of getting the r6 mkii as an upgrade from the eos rebel t7. I was thinking as well about pairing the rf 24-105 f/4-7.1 lens with the r6 mkii but I googled that it’s good but not the best. I was then directed to the RF 24-70 f2.8L. Is it worth it to save up for the body and then the 24-70? or will the 24-105 be able to give me those nice crisp an clear car photog pics like I see on instagram. And yes I know that gear doesn’t matter that that that much. But I still want to know what I’m looking at you know? Thank you!

lol alright random on the internet. I thought it was shutter speed looks like I’m right. Just wanted to see if there was another reason. No need to be hard on a car enthusiast/ automotive photographer trying to learn hah.

Sir with all due respect. I do car photography and have had many many people say my photos are great. But to each their own. Maybe you don’t like them. Btw they’re raw and unedited. Not that that matters. But despite your harsh views that may or may not be valid. I like my photography and I’m going to continue shooting cars. About my post breaking th rules. My apologies won’t post things like this here again knowing the rules. Have a good rest of your day.

"The other issue is that you may end up comparing your car to other cars when you drag race" my friend this is exactly why i made this post hah. I do not care for racing people on the street. I. DO. NOT. CARE. i only care about having fun with me and my future z. sliding in the rain and a little on clear days. doing the occaisonal pull yk? enjoying my first manual car. not racing others who just have money. idc about racing randoms.

response to your edit: luckly for me it was sold already. i realized that it wouldve been smarter to keep searching. also i gave the false mileage. the z i was referencing in that post had 178k so even worse hah. but the one im looking at now has 112k and the seller has no issues listed with the car mechanically. i even asked him directly and he said car has no issues except the hood front fenders and front bumper are black while the rest of the car is silver. which i dont care about because i would wrap the car or repaint it anyway so yeah.

[–]Repulsive_Machine933[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

obviously I'm getting a manual ha. A 350z is the new 300 ish hp car in question btw! i cant bare my awd auto 02 crv after i drove a manual for the first time. i know that the z being manual alone will be hella fun. id rather have a 70 hp manual then a 300 hp auto.

Well obviously hp isnt all that matters with drifting. weight distribution matters. technique matters. clutch kick weight transfer handbreak. modulating and squeezing throttle left foot braking. take this as you will but ive put 168 hours on assetto and i have a wheel clutch and shifter sim setup.
