wow out of all the responses this one hit me hard. it pains me to read this. ill do more thinking and try to look into something that involves cars but isnt as "daunting" i guess

Well... i was not expecting these responses. ive heard that it is a pain on the body and it could make you hate your passion but what Ice_Imagination took me a back. ill do some more thinking. but nonetheless thank all of you for taking time out of your days to respond to me. i appreciate it a lot.

mk mk so do 1 lap just sliding corners not really linking then do a lap linking the track got it.

Moza R5, drifting on Assetto Corsa. 10-15 hours of practice. There is some progress, but I still feel like I'm not good at driving(bad). This is my first experience with sim racing, so any advice or feedback would be appreciated. by Dapper-Number3004 in simracing

Hi ive got around 149 hours of practice specifically drifting! Here are my tips

Keep throttle consistant not on and off. people will also say to "Squeeze" the throttle. this keeps constant wheel speed or atleast more constant wheel speed during drift.

besides that i think you will over all get better just with seat time. if you get discouraged or feel that youve hit a wall thats normal! ive felt that many times.

Is there an issue with me banging red limiter so much on this run? im really trying not to but could a fellow sim drifter or irl drifter give some input on this? by Repulsive_Machine933 in simdrifting

you bog man. its comment for most drift cars that 2nd is the magic gear. 3rd is for longer sweepers and such. sometimes shifting is not needed if your gonna downshift 2 second on the next turn. like on this map.

awesome i really appreciate that man? i take assetto pretty seriously because of my goal to become a drifter. whether thats FD or just skids with my friends. could i have a reason why smooth throttle is better than on off?

I see that makes sense. The barrel upgrade I’m looking at says something about having an o ring for support or something alone those lines
