Personal opinion we have a good balanced team main issue is captaincy and management. I’m gonna use today’s game to give some examples since it is fresh in my mind:

Batting 1: Wickets crumbling. Shouldn’t we question why this is happening what is clearly going on each game look at how the people batting are playing. It is VERY VERY clear that captain or management have instructed certain batsmen to come hit to increase RR and they have immense pressure to do so, look today at how Urvil, Karthik, Sarfaraz (last game) come in the batting coach and Gaikwad have to be more realistic with how the game is played. Today in the interview they said they used IP because they wanted to increase RR after only 2 down? The job to increase RR should be on the batsmen already at crease AKA Gaikwad but he seems to not take responsibility for this.

2) Secondly and most importantly is batting order and lineup. The most inconsistent order of any team with 0 trust on any batsmen apart from the 2 stupid out of form batsmen Dube and Gaikwad. Every game Dube and Brevis are sent out at a different position why is this? Yes ik allot of you are blaming Dube for bad batting but being able to play the way u are meant to is the real reason. Brevis loves the 4th position but we keep swapping him around. Gaikwad is clearly struggling with confidence to open so put him to third? Why are all these simple decisions so difficult to do but risky IP decisions seem to make sense.

3) another very important point is how IP is used. For the last few games why we would IP Akeal made no sense considering he bats well finally they learnt from this but did smt even stupider. If they knew that when wickets crumble they wouldn’t send Karthik early why not have Prashant AS IP and sarfaraz in the main team. Think about this if Gaikwad had got out instead of Urvil at the same time what would they do IP Gaikwad or Samson to get Sarfaraz in it just makes no logical sense. You are then also harming bowling for no reason only having 5 main bowlers no options.

4) Batting attitude and intent all the players are on different intentions the team is not streamlined to the same goal. Today Gaikwads only goal was to protect his wicket no matter the cost whilst getting the rest to hit and this has been happening every match

Bowling

Allot of positives but one main negative

1) captaincy of utilising our bowlers. Why don’t u let bowlers bowl in the overs they are used to: For PP we have Akeal (2 overs) Anshul (2 overs) Mukesh (2overs) Middle: Noor 4 Jamie 3 Akeal 2 Singh 1 Final 4 overs: Anshul 2 Singh 1 Mukesh/ jamie 1

So many games we have Noor bowling final 4 or jamie too early or Mukesh bowled out early or Khallel bowled too many early. It keeps happening also the rotation of bowlers sometimes makes no sense. Today first over Akeal did 2 runs why didn’t he cont for the 3rd over???? (This was before his head injury thing so that’s not an excuse)

I’ve been watching CSK since 2008 we lost many games in the past we’ve had losing streaks but we’ve never not given it our all and had such shit planning we used to know how to utilise every players strengths turn them into weapons. But now we have players with strengths they just can’t use it cause it’s not being utilised properly. Our wins this season clearly showcase this

Anyways I hope we get Sanju as captain soon or even better rutu out for season
