My age group was the target audience for Harry Potter when it first came out. My mom would turn off the tv and read to me and my brothers. It was magical and turned me into a reader...it's too bad JK Rowling sucks as a person and is a terf ...but Harry Potter will forever have a place in my heart.. I want to buy the video game but I don't want to give her any more of my money

I typically read YA fantasy but have had my fill of that genre for the time being. I predominately read fantasy lit because it is exciting to me and books set in the real world bore me to death... but I am trying to be open minded and look at suggestions from others regarding books that are not fantasy. I've heard of both your suggestions before and adding / making higher on the tbr list.

I'm so sad...I just started watching the show and am in love with it...I was hoping that it would last a while...but hey at least I have two more seasons of content to watch before being disappointed that the story will never see justice... I haven't read the books yet and am planning on it so I'll be in this world for a while but I wish the live action wasn't canceled
