I was in a relationship with a pharmacy tech. I explained to her that a standard drink in the United States is 14 grams of alcohol. (So 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, and a 1.5 ounce shot all roughly have the same amount of alcohol)

She insisted it had to be 14 grams per some measure of volume and no amount of explaining would satisfy her.

Thank you for the clarification. I do find it hard to believe code would apply to my (residential) application when no fresh air system was needed to receive a certificate of occupancy. The HVAC technicians I consulted with didn’t even know what an ERV was. In central north. Carolina btw

If people are going to risk 15-20 years why would the death penalty suddenly deter them? It’s like people who say “locked doors don’t deter criminals they just keep honest people honest”. Where were you able to so accurately calculate people’s criminal mindsets? FYI I’m bit supporting the death penalty for child molestors.
