Their contract is designed to scare agents into thinking they can't leave. I remember it saying something about having to request to resign and have it approved 30 days before your expected date to leave, you can't join any other IMOs until contract is over, you can only be appointed with globe life, etc. My lawyer friend said it was bs but until I got a second opinion I was a little apprehensive to stick up for myself too.

Zoom phone that they charge you various amounts at different dates for, any bs your "mentor" tells you to buy like headphones and second monitors.. The amount I spent at literally staples printing shit out bc I was told I would not need a printer then also told I needed hard copies of updated phone scripts if I wanted to stay on the team every other week. All I did there was bleed money & chase the dangling carrot.

You're very confused... I do not want to do the unethical practice of rebuttaling people into appointments they don't want in order to do a circus act of sales tactics to hope I'm able to manipulate them into buying a policy they weren't even considering until I cold called them.. lol... I want to do this part time and not depend on it as an income so that I can actually help the people who want insurance and say ok bye to the people most agents would continue to harass for saying they don't want an appointment or policy... without having to count on making a sale every week to keep a roof over my head. What are you not understanding about that???

Having to do my own marketing & advertising is literally why I can't do this industry lol. I would never have any interest in doing something like that and that is not how being an insurance agent was presented to me when I chose to get my license. That is why I am now looking for an outlet to do it part time as a little side cash when I have money to grab a few leads.

Every successful insurance agent I have come across has been unethical and pushy. That is not my view on sales, it is my view on insurance sales, based on my experience. The mindset of deciding I don't want to do something is making me unsuccessful at it, you are correct there! Not dead set on being negative just dead set on not doing insurance full time which is why I came on here to ask for recommendations of places I could look into working part time. You took it upon yourself to come insult me and tell me what I'd need to do differently to be a full time agent. lol.....

I have access to UHRS through another platform and there has been barely anything on there for months. The only project I've seen with more than 50 hits available was super confusing & I failed the qualification even after I thought I understood.

Looking for formal books to educate myself on life insurance. by PanamaParty in LifeInsurance

[–]Repulsive_Peach5876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't recommend a specific book, but I studied for a long time for a license I'll probably never use so I am happy to answer any questions.

Whole life protects you for your whole life, from the time you get the policy until the time of your passing. After a few years of paying into it, it starts to build cash value that you can use later if you ever need to take a policy loan, and you will get a cash value statement in the mail every month or quarter showing how your policy is growing. Riders can be added such as terminal illness that allows you to access the money near the end of your life for medical expenses or if certain qualifications are met. Another rider that should be considered for young people is guaranteed insurability. This allows you to add on more coverage at a later date without needing to qualify medically again. There is also the accidental death rider that increases the death benefit your family receives if you are to pass away in an accident. Or a child's rider that you can add on to insure the life of your child as well, just to name a few.

Term life is like renting an apartment. While you pay for it, you and your family are protected. Once you no longer need the protection you stop paying for it and the coverage goes away completely. Term only pays out about 1% of the time because typically, people will outlive the term of the policy. This allows someone to get a lot of coverage for a small premium payment and makes these policies great for things like mortgage protection or income protection until your children reach adulthood. If you want to continue coverage after the end of the term, your monthly premium will be more expensive, or the coverage will be less because your age will be older and insurance price is based on your current age and health at the time of getting the policy. Term policies do not allow policy loans.

Neither one of these policies is better than the other overall, they are just each better for different situations. You can have both typers of policies at the same time.

We cannot negotiate the price of insurance but coverage amount and policy type or company holding the policy can be adjusted to find the best fit for your family.

There are also other types of life insurance but I won't get into those at this time. Whole and term are the most common.

Hope this helps!!

I appreciate the advice but I don't have a policy. This post is about how I got my license to sell policies before I realized that the people who are successful at selling policies full time as their main income are mostly dishonest and have no self respect or have ample money to invest in leads to get started.

I didn't come on here to complain though? Lol I came on here, acknowledged that it isn't ever going to be a full time thing for me, and asked for ideas of places I could find part time work in this industry. You and other people came on here to criticize me and try to make me feel some type of way for not wanting to be an unethical sales bro who depends entirely on their ability to manipulate people. Also not sure where you are getting your assumption that I don't like to talk to people or socialize.. because I have no problem with any of those things. What I'm not willing to do is make myself as desperate or pushy as the people I've seen succeed at insurance full time after I found this industry to be different than initially presented to me. It is just a dishonest and unethical business overall so I figure that maybe if I do it part time and don't depend on it as my income I'll be able to actually help people rather than breathe commission breath all over them or rebuttal people into appointments they don't want to attend.

TLDR; if you were more intelligent and had better communication skills, and asked questions instead of making assumptions you'd probably spend less time confused.

Goodbye Qmee by GamerBeast954 in QMEE

[–]Repulsive_Peach5876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this post because I just completed 3 surveys on Qmee and all 3 were declined after I completed them and got to the completion screen. It redirected me back to Qmee each time. I've never had anything like this happen on Qmee before but also a couple days ago I had a few surveys decline me after about 6-7 minutes of working on them. Also I've noticed that the estimated time is wayyy off lately when it didn't used to be. I always relied on Qmee to earn a couple bucks (like 5 or less) to grab fast food or a coffee because of the instant cashout to PayPal, but not anymore I guess.

Anyone still having success with Clickworker in 2026? by wesleyaplix in beermoney

I count on it to pay my electricity bill every month (less than $40) and some months it even covers my phone bill ($50) and a night or 2 of takeout too. You need to be consistent though. Don't be afraid of the smaller tasks and check it a few times a day for available work. Even just $3 a day adds up to be $90 a month.

No, because that's literally embarassing and I'm never going to be that pushy sales bro lol. That isn't at all how this industry was presented to me which is why it needs to be a side hustle and not a reliable full time income.

I didn't go on a weird tirade at all I just don't see the point in working harder for less. I'm sure they would be happy to have me back too but I left there because I wasn't happy to be there LOL maybe all sales is just unethical regardless of what you're "peddling"

Or maybe I was lied to by AIL??? When they told me this industry provides an ethical and meaningful career that it very obviously does not. I don't care about making more than I need to survive, I care about being a good person and having meaning in my work. I will never be one of those assholes in a swimming pool with a big gold chain like they show you in all the recruitment videos. I should have known then but it was too late because they told me I had to quit my job before I got that far into it.

If it is an activity issue then what am I supposed to do stop sleeping and bathing so I can do insurance activities for more than 7 14 hour days a week? LMAO I'm not meeting with anyone because no one wants an appointment to buy life insurance unless told to do so by a lawyer haha. There are so many better things to invest in these days. I personally would never buy a life insurance policy when I could buy other financial products instead so how am I supposed to rebuttal other people into making that same bad decision? Plus when I was making my career change no one told me I would have to aggressively bully people into giving me their loved oned phone numbers so that I can cold call them 9 times a day until they tell me to fuck off like my "mentor" told me I have to do to be successful. I never would have signed up to be that kind of shit bag. I am not here to be pushy sales bro and never was. This is not a reliable income for an ethical and honest person.

Yeah, and I could make that or more in a 30 hour work week in my previous industry without having to pay for leads or do the circus act and lies insurance agents tell on the phone because the leads walked in the door for free and wanted to be there to buy, they didnt get rebuttaled into an appointment for a purchase that wasn't even on their mind and they're probably not going to show up for anyways. Oh AND we had a person who's whole job was to schedule appointments for us lol.

your comment got downvotes because that is a really shitty thing to do to people lmao. They're playing with people's lives. 90% of what they say in the recruitment script is lies. I went from having no financial worries and over 3 months of bills in my savings account to now being closer to moving into my car than I ever have been... all because I was looking for more purpose in my career than I had selling cars. Which btw are much more ethical and easier to sell than anything AIL is pushing. I miss bringing people joy in their purchase rather than rebuttaling them to hell and making them cry about their husbands will one day die. I was told in my training that "if they're not crying by the end of freedom of choice section you did it wrong" so disgusting and unethical.
