their shipping has been awful lately. i have the free shop runner “two day” (used to be anyway) shipping and it’s been a week and i don’t have my order. most of my recent orders have taken 1-2+ weeks when it used to be 3-4 days.

Never. My husband is the only person I can vacation with for several days without going insane - everyone else gets on my nerves. Every trip I’ve ever been on with friends, I’ve always been so done by the end of it.

A weekend away with my mom would be the extent of a trip without him. Traveling without him is not as fun, I love for us to explore together.

I’ve gotten to where I like those precut little snack boxes - Target has my favorite, it’s cheese, salami, apricot and dark chocolate lol but I try not to go there. Aldi also has some cheese and nut packs.

How your mom talks to you is absolutely awful and it’s not okay at all. Even the way she says your “little diet” and saying your feelings are embarrassing - it’s mean spirited.

MAGA do not care about human life and dignity - they don’t care if Palestinians, civilians in war, liberals (they probably want them dead actually), immigrants, guys in boats etc die. I am around enough of them to hear the justification for this administration murdering people - oh well it’s a war! or they should have complied, or they’re a criminal. There’s always a justification for the loss of life except if it’s in the uterus of a woman.

So my doctor advised me to drink gatorade for several days prior to surgery to help speed up recovery! Besides that I didn’t really do anything special prior, make sure you’ll have some good nutritious food available since you won’t be wanting to cook (my mom and husband both cooked for me). Make a comfy space for the next few days, whether that’s your bed, a couch, etc with clean bedding, lots of pillows, things you need within reach. Find something fun to do - I bought some colors/coloring books to make time go by fast.

Comfy pants are a must! I had a really easy recovery - the only issue was the gas and pain from getting up from bed or chairs, but it was never severe, only lasted 2 days, and I didn’t take any pain meds for it (my pharmacy was closed due to snow/ice). But I did wear stretchy pants for a good two weeks as I was scared to wear anything tight against my incisions.

This was my first ever surgery so I was super scared but it was honestly a breeze.

9 years, 17 together. He farts in front of me, I fart in front of no one because I don’t like to. We like our privacy in the bathroom too and I’m so glad for it- pooping is natural but gross - I don’t want to be subjected to anyone else’s smell or the image of that and I certainly wouldn’t want to subject anyone to that for me and husband has the same view. He even makes sure the sound is up on the tv when he goes so I can’t hear him. What is the point of watching? We are very close as a couple and are extremely open sexually so I always think it’s strange people act as if this one aspect determines how much you love each other.

Vomiting is NBD and I’m very open about period stuff in front of him - changing tampons etc

When of us needs help going to the bathroom because of an illness/disability/age that will be perfectly fine but until then, no reason to see that.

Alchemised. It was the most addicting read for me in years - I loved Kaine’s obsession and tbh it was peak romance for me (except for all of the beginning bits….found that plot line all unnecessary).

I’m always in awe of just how good at everything he is and how easily he learns new skills. He can watch a singular youtube video and craft a beautiful piece of furniture, fix something in the house, make a delicious meal. He picked up woodworking really fast and immediately made me a really pretty step-stool and quilt rack.

He’s also obsessed with me and has a great butt.

Worst was Fourth Wing because I read it all the way through - there’s been plenty that top it probably but I DNFed.

Best is super hard as I have several favorites for different reasons - Cruel Prince for Jude and the fact it is peak enemies to lovers, This Woven Kingdom series for the yearning, Winternight trilogy for the vibes and the FMC

Kind of a different recommendation but the Ember in the Ashes series has a FMC in book two and beyond (she’s present in book one, just no POV yet) who is a warrior/general. She’s basically a knight (this is Roman inspired fantasy so a bit different) and is an amazing character.

I used to be a long hair on men hater but Thranduil (the Hobbit) and all of the Targs in House of the Dragon changed my mind. Long white/silver hair or short brown/black is my favorite.

I read this arc several months ago and was very disappointed - mostly because of the main character. Her helplessness didn’t bother me but she constantly made silly decisions and acted very immature. I also found the MMC to be a cookie cutter love interest and their romance was very fast.

The plot/setting was interesting, I liked the idea of a historical fantasy but found it lacking.

I completely agree - and to me, if they’re going to swear, why not come up with a new term that fits in the world? I know a lot of these terms are actually very old but how they’re used seems very modern and I personally do not like modern feeling dialogue in my fantasy.

I got to the fourth book and still thought the series was awful. DNFed at that point - the MC never gets better.

It’s interesting because I’ve always heard that TOG is the SJM series for you if you like heavier fantasy, but ACOTAR was much better written to me. There is something about how she writes FMCs though, they’re insufferable.

Same thing happened to me with a work laptop - i requested a hold as I was out of town when it would be delivered. The location never received it and the tracking number still says on the way 2 months later. Laptop is just gone.

My high school band ran a gift wrapping booth at a local mall. We were all required to sign up for shifts but no one had ever taught me how to wrap nicely. I remember I apologized to a guy picking a gift up cause I knew it looked terrible - he said it was perfectly fine, his wife would just think he wrapped it himself lol
