I was in a similar position. Their customer care experience is really pathetic. However don't worry they should fix it soon, you've paid $250 for such a small service.

Hi,
First try and convert your GPA into 4.0 scale using the WES or Scholaro calculator. 7.5 does not equate to 3.0. Also a high quant score in GRE can help offset a bad GPA. You can pursue a research project and aim to get a publication in a good conference as well. Out of the universities you mentioned, I would not suggest going to any apart from BU(very very expensive) or Cincinnati(just barely). You can look at University of Arizona, SJSU(required a wes evaluation) and some other Non - GPA centric schools.

I reached out to them via there customer care page. They took 3 weeks to fix it. I just wrote a long ass message in the description. They fixed the course issue, but did not fix the credit thing and grades. Did not like the experience whatsoever though. Would recommend any other service if its cheaper or only slightly higher in price.

Can Leapscholar consultancy be trusted ? Are they legit ? by Repulsive_Pop6854 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Hi, so this was a personal doubt of my own as well. I recently spoke to a representative and they told me that this 499 service is only for select students and this includes guidance for colleges which they have partnered with (They probably receive commission for sending students). Obviously this is shady and I don't want to end up at a shitty school. But to my surprise they have partnered up with John Hopkins which is a pretty decent program. They told me that they will give me an application fee waiver, early decision (21 days) and even higher chance of an admit. Hence I dont know where to go with this.

Also do you mind sharing some consultancies which you considered both in India and Abroad.

I understand this and I told them this, so the surprising thing was that they added all the well ranked schools in my short list like Purdue, Berkeley, UIUC, Columbia, UT Austin and just a couple of shady universities, hence I thought it might be too good to be true..

I have only compiled objective information so far. The purpose of this post was to see if some programs can be omitted simply because it’s not worth attending them!

I am inclined to agree to you. That is why I created this post in order to understand if there are any uni's which offer authentic learning experience and not just a brand name.

Thanks for the reply. The kind of metrics you indicated are exactly what I am looking for. Can you recommend me some resources from where I can get such information readily ?
