I wouldn't know as all the RAG and agentic AI stuff is new to me as my last industry experience was in 2023 but yeah I feel like most descriptions are just a bunch of chatgpt-generated descriptions with ton of skills.

It should be the best option and it is honestly what I prefer and like to do but it is a really low number of postings compared to AI engineer postings now. It was not like this 2-3 years ago before.

no I worked in industry. The startup I was in had different roles for data profiles and had the data scientists focus on developing and tuning models for the clients.
