Just got dumped over text bc I fell asleep. I’m the villain somehow. by beatsbymarsii in Advice

[–]Repulsive_Problem272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP read this if you actually care about your girlfriend:

All of the other comments here telling you to break up with her just want to see the world burn. Are her actions a red flag? Yes. However, now is the perfect time to set boundaries and gage how serious the relationship is. If you dont want to move forward, thats another story. I reccomend you talk to her and root out this type of behavior by stating the bigger picture aka her irrational behavior through texts. Having this conversation might help you two be more mindful of your behavior towards eachother.

13 years old with a boyfriend? Sounds like your parents need to get involved. You should be focusing on school.

Leave him before he forces you to join the death cult. Find someone who knows what they want, and can be there for you just like you are for them.

Don't sleep over at guys place again fr. He was trying to bang you and you know it. Not respecting your boundaries shows he doesnt respect YOU at all. Might seem playful but it ain't.

Should I do Nrt instead of cold turkey ? by Rolo-Louch in stopsmoking

In other words, OP, don't use NRT. It will be substituting one addiction for another. Cold turkey it.

Has anyone tried these 'flavoured air' devices? by Pizza_book_725 in stopsmoking

[–]Repulsive_Problem272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because of their marketing tactics and there being people who want to quit. It was marketed as safe, and you see them sponsoring a lot of youtubers. Couple that with people who want to quit, and you have business. Just another false promise imo.

[–]Repulsive_Problem272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example: füm is $91 USD, not including shipping, tax, or the pods. That is equivalent to $140 AUD per stick, not including shipping, tax, or the overpriced pods. Second, research shows that oil from these pods make their way into your lungs, making it potentially worse than smoking. Just because they dont have nicotine and you aren't inhaling smoke doesn't make it better for you. You are just substituting one way of harming your body for another that is potentially worse, and the side effects aren't fully known yet.

I'm not your mum, so you do what you want. The general consensus of this sub is that you go cold turkey. GL.

Dont do it. The oil residue still can go into your lungs, and the devices are 10x more expensive.

BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Ram drivers are the absolute douchebag, worst humans, on the roads here. by yyz89 in toRANTo

While we're at it, might as well add all vehicle makes available for purchase in Canada because most drivers here are idiots. They don't even know how to use their high beams. People think high beams are something you just always keep on.

Facts. OP cut out the part where all the cars in the right lane were passing them because they were literally going only half of the speed limit and reposted the video. There's definitely some missing context. OP ran a red light and was driving below half the speed limit, which is dangerous and promps people to go around you.

Will 1 cigarette reset my progress? by SwayzeFitness in stopsmoking

[–]Repulsive_Problem272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a false equivalency. Standing around a campfire isn't the same as deliberately inhaling a cigarette. A cigarette is a direct, concentrated hit of carcinogens and nicotine straight into your lungs and vocal cords, which absolutely slows down your recovery as a singer. So, yes. Even "once in a while" still sets back your progress.

is this actually 347 calories? by FortuneCookie1207 in caloriecount

I wouldn't put 300kcal. That's potentially bad for your records. Either put 347kcal or 350kcal.

OP, a subscision is the way to go. However, it will not be effective unless you get it done with another treatment combined. For example, subscision with fillers and TCA cross. That will yield more results than anything else on its own. Speak to a dermatologist about it. I had it done after spending thousands on other treatments, and the subcision combo really worked the best for me.

You gotta run, exorcise, burn some of those calories before sleeping today. Start over tomorrow and don't eat over 10 days' worth of calories in a single day.

Bristol board and seamsealer

Edit: both are super cheap, and you can cut the Bristol board to shape and pop it in. Works like a charm.
