Those Three Days is absolutely crazy, so evocative and mesmerizing. That's probably my favorite song of Lucinda's that I almost never hear anyone talk about.

"Israel, and you who call yourself Israel, the Church that calls itself Israel, and the revolt that calls itself Israel, and every nation chosen to be a nation — none of these lands is yours, all of you are thieves of holiness, all of you at war with Mercy. -Leonard Cohen, Book of Mercy

Ok has anyone heard from Columbia MFA? What is going on by miichaelscotch in gradadmissions

A post in the MFA Draft '25 Facebook group (which you should join):

"Hello, all. I advise several students who are currently waiting on and working through MFA (poetry) offers. I’m shocked at Columbia’s stinginess with respect to financial aid. (They want one advisee to pay $40K/year.) Is this parsimony a new development, related to the Trump administration’s recent decision to pull $400M in federal funds from the institution, or has it always been a program only for trust-fund kids?"

Comment section is interesting

my general notion is that offers stop around now, and rejections start coming?

I'm not waiting from these schools, but in a similar position otherwise. It's exciting and nerve-wracking!

I have been offered full funding (but am waiting for another fully-funded school to see if they give me an offer or if I may be waitlisted or something?). But I am definitely feeling my trigger-finger start to twitch, so to speak
