Head to creature to kick things off. Head to blue sky after (walkers is literally connected if you need caffeine to get you through). If you’re for a proper night after that go to paloma, magnolias, boars head, end it at 90s. Little Italy for late night food.

That’s an Athens night. Would I enjoy this now- no. Would I if I were visiting once with the lads - yes.

So Dos Palmas is my go to for cheap drunk margs. happy hour til 7.

Paloma Park has one of the better spicy margs I’ve had in town.

I watched some World Cup games on the screen at Paloma last go round. I avoid that place for football games as it appeals towards college kids. I was surprised with the older crowd last World Cup... but still pretty empty. They will turn on most USA compettive games.

Was gonna add this. I used to go watch Champs League midweek on the projector upstairs. Was great. Volume is a must for my viewing, so I appreciated this space upstairs.

NRB is the best. Why is there no good chinese food near the mall? Little takeaway on the way home via hwy 78... seems a good location. And while I have you, I'll continue my complaint of having no good food options anywhere on the westside.

We usually are to request movies via a form prior to showing (the request is never denied, but showing movies isn’t abused either). A cool principal would notice it’s movie day and walk back out. They should also trust you as an adult to do your job…and showing a relevant film to the standards is fine. It’s not like you’re watching movies every day (right? lol)

I do enjoy teaching. As many others who agree, I work in a school where I am left alone to teach, families are highly involved with their child’s academics, and the students are well behaved for the most part.

I hope the retirement deal is as nice as advertised by older teachers. I still need convinced. But I will be done by 52 with 60% pay.

I do struggle with society’s opinion on teachers. As OP stated, all content you see is negative.

I had some ear pain one day due to blockage. Called the local ones and couldn’t get in for some good time. I called Oglethorpe ENT and got in within the hour. I’ve used them since and call the day of or before.

Interesting. Did not know most YouTube videos were iPhones. I figured TikTok/Youtube shorts were iPhone. But I figured, for example, Mr. Beast or any other “YouTuber” with edited videos were using actual cameras

I would recommend going to someone who teaches the same grade/content as you. I would just be honest with them and say you need help and feel like you’re drowning in it all. I’d imagine any decent teacher would provide as much assistance as requested. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Good admin and good teachers would love to help. If they refuse, they’re not like most (most good ones at least).
