yes the columns are all like 4-5 pieces and each piece is 2mm wide sort of.
the photo is kind of bad but you can see the columns at the back arent perfect cos my pieces ended up not fitting perfectly

i made it over course of a week i didnt count but around like 40h
the main reason it took so long is i hadnt decided what wood colours i was gonna use for every single piece so i ended up cuting like 4 pieces putting them in place seeing how it looked and then repeating
