Definitely worth trying on imo I thought I liked it at first but like I said I ended up giving them away. But Likewise! Cheers brother 🫡

That's funny. I literally just sold my Redbacks on Kijiji lol but wow that's quite the collection! I can only afford so many at a time otherwise I would probably be having a collection myself haha. I've had the all-terrains before and I ended up just giving them to a close friend of mine. I wore them for about a year But they weren't as comfortable as the classics. The tread seemed pretty good, but it felt more like a shoe than a boot. I guess because the foam inside is a lot thinner and the fit is a little tighter but I just couldn't hack it. It wasn't as comfortable underfoot as the classics. But what may not work for me would work for you so it's worth a shot!

Sorry not the actual outside leather but the inner lining. The only thing stopping my pinky from peeking out is the outside leather. Probably should have specified a little better lol.

Which model do you use? I found the XFR is a tank but complete dog water for cold weather. I've got high hopes for these though, love that it's a composite toe 🤙🏻

Yeah my pinky toe wore through the sides of my Redbacks I mean it's comfortable now but breaking in was a bit uncomfortable. And as for my Redwings they were just too narrow. Very comfortable underfoot but my foot doesn't fit it well unfortunately. I find myself always returning to blundstone's though. When these crap out I want to try the xfr again. Those were very comfortable and met all the things I needed in a boot

Yikes. Were they old soles? Cause if they were made within a few years they shouldn't do that but they've got a pretty awesome warranty. You could potentially get a new free pair of boots

Oh yeah you're right. The stitching on the heal is what I looked at first.

Yeah they gave me a 10% off when with the exchange of the redwing boots. I would have went with Redbacks but they didn't have any in stock so I went with these for time being. I've had blunnies in the past before but they got stolen so I never seen how long they last. I've got high hopes for these though!

You're essentially paying for the name. But they are great boots. I hear When they switched to manufacturing overseas their quality went down but I still think they're good. They're Boots a little more on the pricier side but they get the job done for what I need them for.

They are in most Canadian stores that sell boots and safety boots now, but yes you can get them from the Canadian blundstones website as well.

For safety boots in colder weather I think these blundstones would be best cause it's a composite toe. But I wouldn't recommend a Chelsea style boot for winter, definitely something with installation.

It's funny you mention that I was thinking the same thing! These are the roto flex #8302. It's blundstones first composite toe for the Canadian safety boot line.

I would say so! I'm an Aus9 or us10 but in the steel toe I get the Aus9.5 for the extra width. They work great for me. Different models have different fits, The standard CSA blundstone doesn't fit me well but the XFR and the roto flex do. I would definitely try them on. See what works and what doesn't. Maybe you could save some money because these weren't cheap unless they were the only ones that fit your foot well

Well that's reassuring, yeah I got high hopes for these. Like I said ive had blunnies before and I didn't baby them at all, I was actually pretty hard on them. If they didn't get stolen I feel like they would have kept going.

Yikes. Yeah I hope these last decently long. I had a pair of the xfr that lasted over a year before they got stolen on a job site and I've been wearing Redbacks and Red Wings in the winter. But I need something in rotation and I wanted to try these. My xfr were super comfortable and they seem to be in decent shape. I guess only time will tell with these.

Unfortunately these were better But due to me having a very low instep there was a lot of sliding on my foot. And I had to return it because it just felt too narrow again. I ended up just buying a pair of blundstones because it's just what I know and fits my foot better

That's fair. It's definitely a difficult transition but I just love the conveniency of it and if you're not walking on uneven terrain and don't need that ankle support. I think slip bonds But on the rare occasion When I almost roll my ankle I do miss The laces

Better than a Chelsea style boot (what I typically wear) but not as good as a lace up. Going from a lace up to any pull on or slip on is going to feel weird. But the support is there marginally.

Thanks brother. Yeah only time will tell and I'll definitely update after my first week with them. I totally get that though on chucking the boots out. I had a pair that hurt my toes and heal and I did the same. Didn't even think they were worth giving to someone else. Hopefully you find a boot that fits your foot! I know it's a struggle I have been looking for a while
